1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zilem Method, operated at zilemmethod.com, including the website, the video optimizer, the Discord bot, the browser extension and the backend service at api.zilemmethod.com (together, the "Service"). "Zilem", "we", "us" and "our" mean the operators of Zilem Method. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may only make a donation or purchase with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for it. You must also be old enough to hold an account on any platform you connect (such as Discord or TikTok), and you must comply with that platform's own terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

3. What the Service does

Zilem provides tools for creators. The core feature is a container-level video optimizer: it accepts MP4 and MOV files, rewrites the container's internal metadata (sample tables, edit lists and timing information), and returns a file for you to download. Your video and audio streams are copied through without being re-encoded, so no new compression is applied.

Depending on the engine selected, processing runs either on our server infrastructure or entirely in your browser. MOV files are relabelled to MP4 as part of processing. The Service also includes a TikTok video analyser, a publishing page for connected accounts, a browser extension and a Discord bot.

Supported codecs, containers, maximum file sizes and weekly limits are described on the Shop page and in the optimizer itself. They may change.

4. Accounts and connected services

Signing in uses Discord OAuth. We receive your Discord user ID, username and avatar, and we read your roles in our Discord server to determine your access tier. We do not receive your Discord password.

Some features let you connect a third-party account — for example a TikTok account for publishing. When you connect an account you authorise us to act on it only for the specific actions you request, and you agree to that platform's own terms. You may disconnect a connected account at any time.

You are responsible for keeping your account and connected-account access secure, and for all activity carried out through them.

5. Tiers, weekly quotas and fair use

  • Free and paid tiers exist. Each tier carries a weekly patch allowance and a maximum file size. Weekly allowances reset on a recurring schedule.
  • Some tiers are uncapped. Uncapped means no weekly patch counter; it does not mean unlimited storage, bandwidth or any other resource.
  • Fair use applies to every tier. We may rate-limit, throttle or temporarily suspend processing that is automated, scripted, abnormal in volume, or that threatens the stability of the Service for others.
  • Tier values, quotas, file-size limits and features may change. Changes are not retroactive to a period you have already paid for.
  • One account per person. Creating extra accounts to obtain a tier, an allowance or a promotion more than once is not allowed.

6. Donations and payment

  • Donations are voluntary contributions that fund the Service. A donation may also grant access to a paid tier. What a given donation grants — and for how long — is exactly what is shown on the Shop page or confirmed to you in writing at the time.
  • Plus and Premium are subscriptions that renew automatically. They are bought through Whop's hosted card checkout. A subscription renews at the end of each period, at the price shown on the Shop page, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from the link in the receipt Whop emails you, or by asking staff. Premium begins with a 3-day free trial that becomes a paid subscription if it is not cancelled before the trial ends. Credit packs are one-time purchases and never renew.
  • We never take your card details. Card payments are processed by Whop, on Whop's own hosted checkout. We do not ask for, receive or store your card number, and no payment-card data is ever entered on zilemmethod.com. Whop's own terms and privacy policy apply to that payment.
  • Time-limited access ends when its period ends. For a subscription, those periods continue until you cancel, as described above. For access granted for a fixed period outside a subscription, continuing it is a separate, voluntary decision.
  • All donations are final, except where the Refund Policy says otherwise or where the law that applies to you requires a refund. See that policy for the full rules.
  • Chargebacks. Please contact us before disputing a payment. A dispute filed without contacting us first may lead to suspension of your access and loss of remaining paid time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to attempt to:

  • process, publish or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the rights to use;
  • violate the terms, policies or community guidelines of any platform you connect, including TikTok and Discord;
  • upload malware, or use the Service to attack, overload, probe or disrupt Zilem or any third party;
  • circumvent or tamper with weekly quotas, file-size limits, tier restrictions, rate limits, integrity checks or any other access control;
  • resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
  • use bots, scrapers or automation to abuse the Service, or operate multiple accounts to evade limits, bans or payment;
  • reverse engineer or copy the Service, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits.

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or revoke tier access in response, with or without notice.

8. Your content and publishing

You retain ownership of the videos and other content you process or publish through the Service ("Your Content"). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for holding all necessary rights, licences and permissions, including for any music, footage or third-party material it contains.

When you use the publishing feature to post to a connected TikTok account, you direct us to send Your Content and the caption, privacy level, disclosures and settings you choose to TikTok on your behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of those settings and disclosures, including any commercial-content or branded-content declaration. We do not review, endorse or take responsibility for Your Content, and we cannot guarantee that a post will succeed, remain published, reach any audience or perform in any particular way.

You grant us a limited licence to receive, process, transmit and temporarily handle Your Content only as needed to perform the actions you request. We do not use Your Content to train models and we do not sell it.

9. Video optimization — no guaranteed results

The Service is provided to help you prepare and optimize videos, but results depend on your source file, your device, the destination platform and factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any particular quality outcome, that a video will avoid compression or moderation, or any specific result on TikTok or any other platform. Keep your own copy of every original file. The Service is not a storage or backup service.

10. Third-party services

The Service interoperates with third parties, including Discord, TikTok, hosting and storage providers, our bot backend, video-information and verification providers, and advertising networks. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability and behaviour are outside our control. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, downtime or content of any third-party service. The Privacy Policy names each recipient and what is shared with it. Zilem Method is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, Discord, or any other platform mentioned on this site.

11. Advertising

Some tiers are supported by advertising, and access to an ad-free experience is a feature of certain tiers. Advertisements are served by third-party advertising networks, which may set or read their own cookies and other identifiers on your device, and which operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements. Blocking or refusing advertising may affect your experience of the Service but does not entitle you to a tier or a refund.

12. Integrity and abuse-prevention measures

To protect the Service we use automated abuse-prevention measures, which may include request rate limiting, signed session cookies, integrity checks on the client, decoy or honeypot endpoints, and technical signals about the requesting device. These measures are described in the Privacy Policy. You must not probe, map, scan, disable or work around them.

13. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, engine implementations, design, text and branding — is owned by Zilem and protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted. All third-party product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

14. Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may add, change, pause, rate-limit or discontinue any feature, engine, quota or processing method at any time, and we may need to take the Service offline for maintenance. We are not liable for any interruption, or for the removal of a feature, except where the Refund Policy says otherwise. Temporary interruptions, maintenance, or reduced effectiveness following changes to TikTok or other third-party platforms do not automatically pause your membership term, extend its expiry date, or suspend recurring billing while we work on repairs or an updated engine.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for Zilem, or abuse the Service. If we terminate your access for cause, remaining paid time and tier access may be forfeited without refund. If we close your access without cause, we will refund the unused part of any period you have already paid for, on request. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including payment, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification — will survive.

16. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that it will meet your requirements or produce any particular result.

16a. The AI assistant

Answers from the support assistant on the website are generated automatically. They may be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and they are information rather than advice. The assistant cannot see or change accounts, payments, credits or plans, and nothing it says is a promise of access, of quality, of a processing outcome or of delivery; Section 9 applies to it as much as to anything else on the site. Where an answer matters, these Terms, the page describing the feature and a written reply from support govern instead.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zilem and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, content, goodwill or opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Zilem in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $50.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zilem and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, including any platform's terms.

19. Disputes and consumer rights

If you have a problem with the Service, please contact us first — most issues are resolved fastest that way, and Section 6 asks you to do so before filing a payment dispute. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer right you have under the law that applies to you which cannot be waived by agreement. If that law gives you a right that these Terms do not, that right applies.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we update the version number and date above and, for material changes, may provide a notice on the website or in our Discord server. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Each donation is governed by the version in effect when it was made.
