Refund Policy
Version 3.0 · Last updated: October 10, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when a payment to Zilem Method ("Zilem", "we", "us") can and cannot be refunded. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and it applies to every donation and every tier purchase.
1. Scope
This policy covers every payment made to Zilem, whether the payment is described as a donation, a tier purchase or an access extension, and whether it was made through the website, the Discord server or directly with a member of staff.
2. What a payment buys
- Donations are voluntary contributions that fund the Service. Where a donation grants access to a paid tier, the tier and its duration are exactly what is shown on the Shop page, or what is confirmed to you in writing in your support ticket before you pay.
- Tier access is time-limited digital access. It is granted to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed, and it runs for the period you paid for.
- Perks are the ones described at the time of your payment. Perks, weekly allowances and file-size limits may change; a change will not remove access you have already paid for within its period.
3. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them
This is the part most refund policies in this space leave vague, and it matters to you:
- Plus and Premium are subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown on the Shop page, and your payment method is charged at the start of every renewed period until you cancel.
- Quarterly plans start with a 3-day free trial. No money is taken at signup; the first charge is the plan price shown on the Shop page — $25 for Premium, $12.50 for Plus — taken when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Monthly, half-yearly and yearly plans have no trial and are charged from the first payment. Credit packs are one-time purchases and are not subscriptions.
- Older trials still convert. A small number of accounts were given a 3-day Premium trial on the monthly plan under earlier terms; those still convert. Those trials become a paid Premium subscription, and the first $10 is charged automatically, unless cancelled before the trial ends. No trial is offered to new subscribers.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not retroactively refund the period you are already in, which is why Section 4 applies. The receipt Whop emails you carries a link to manage or cancel the subscription, and our staff can help at any point.
- Card payments are handled by Whop, not by us. We never ask for and never store your card number, and no card details are entered on
zilemmethod.com. The details you type go directly to Whop, and Whop's own terms apply to that payment.
4. All payments are final
Tier access and its perks are digital and are delivered to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed. For that reason all payments are final and non-refundable, except in the situations listed in Section 6 or where the law that applies to you requires a refund.
5. What we do not refund
- changing your mind after paying;
- unused or partly used access time;
- patches or allowances you did not use before your access period ended;
- deciding later that you no longer need the tier;
- the result of an optimized video, or how your video performs on TikTok or any other platform (see Section 9 of the Terms);
- loss of access after your account is suspended or terminated for breaking the Terms;
- a price change, promotion or discount that begins after your payment;
- a change to tier perks, weekly allowances or file-size limits that does not remove access you already paid for.
6. When we do refund
If you contact us within 7 days of the payment, we will refund you in these situations:
- Duplicate payment. You paid more than once for the same tier or the same period.
- Not delivered. You paid, but the tier or the access you paid for never reached your account and we cannot put it right.
- Our fault. A confirmed problem on our side stopped you using the access you had paid for, and we could not resolve it.
- Charged in error. You were charged an amount, or for a period, that you had not agreed to. Remember that nothing is billed automatically, so this should not arise — but if it does, we will put it right.
Where a refund is approved we will return the money to the original payment method. Where the original method cannot be reversed, we will agree an alternative with you. If you prefer, you may ask us to apply the value as additional access time on your account instead.
If we permanently shut down a paid tier while you still have paid time left on it, we will refund the unused part of that period when you ask us to.
We may also grant a refund in other situations at our discretion. Doing so once does not oblige us to do it again.
7. How to request a refund
Open a ticket in the official Zilem Discord server, or email support@zilemmethod.com, and include:
- your Discord username and user ID;
- the date of the payment and the amount;
- the payment method used and any reference or receipt you were given;
- what went wrong.
We aim to reply within 3 business days. Once a refund is approved, how long it takes to arrive depends on the payment method and your bank or provider — for card and bank payments this is often around 5–10 business days. Because payments are handled manually, please allow for that when you contact us.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank or payment provider. Almost every problem is resolved faster that way, and asking us costs you nothing. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first may lead to suspension of your access, as described in Section 6 of the Terms.
If a payment is disputed, we may give the payment provider the records showing that it was authorised and delivered: your support ticket and what it confirmed, the amount and period agreed, the date your access was granted and for how long, and whether your account used its allowances in that period.
9. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement. If the law where you live gives you a right to a refund that this policy does not, that right applies, and you are welcome to tell us so.
If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you should not make a payment without a parent or legal guardian's permission. If a payment was made by a minor without that permission, contact us — we will look at it fairly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the version number and date at the top of the page. Each payment is covered by the version in effect on the date it was made.
