Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. "We" means the operators of Zilem Method (zilemmethod.com).
1. Information we collect
- Discord identity: when you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and role information needed to determine access tier.
- Usage data: quota counters (e.g., patches used per week), approximate request volumes, and technical logs for security and abuse prevention.
- Files: videos you upload are received and processed to return a patched file; they are not stored long-term.
2. How we use it
- To authenticate you, enforce quotas/tiers, and provide the patching service.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
3. Files & processing
Depending on the active engine, processing happens either on our server infrastructure in transit (files are not saved) or locally in your browser (the file never leaves your device). We do not sell, share, or publish your videos.
4. Cookies & local storage
We use a session cookie and short-lived security cookies for login state and abuse protection, plus local storage to cache your session. You can clear these at any time; you may be asked to sign in again.
5. Third parties
- Discord — sign-in and account identity.
- Hosting/CDN — Vercel and Cloudflare provide infrastructure and may process standard technical data under their own policies.
- Processing partner — server-side patching may route through a contracted processing service; only file bytes needed for the request are transmitted.
- Payments — donations are processed by third-party providers; we do not store card details.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Retention & your rights
We keep authentication and quota data while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting support@zilemmethod.com.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, signed session cookies, and abuse-rate protections. No internet service is 100% secure; report vulnerabilities to support@zilemmethod.com.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
